im gonna keep this brief. I grew up in South Africa, moved to London at the begining of 2008 to follow my dreams…they’re a work in progress. Amongst other things i am a musician – i play all the instruments on my recordings and write all the words and sing it all myself. That’s just how i do it 
i studied the violin and piano in high school, and played drums in a rock band, and when the band eventually fell apart, i picked up a guitar and started mashing away chords and expressing myself (very badly i might add…over time i think my musical self expression has gotten a bit better)
around then i started my own recording studio with a drum machine (that i paid for by busking at Johannesburg international airport on my violin) and a mini disk recorder (that i sold my lovingly restored drum kit to pay for). and over the years i have just been knocking out songs week after week, and little by little improving my studio gear and craft. i like to do the whole producing/engineering/recording thing myself because i believe they are just as much a part of the creative process as writing lyrics/guitar parts/melodies…and i like to be able to say that i am a “painter with sound”.
i give all my music away for free, cos thats just what i do
i believe that Jesus was a real person who walked this earth, is the son of God, and by grace alone is my saviour. so 1 in every 4 original songs that i write is about my relationship with Jesus, the good and the bad.
